Circa mid-50's to early 60's. This particular Big Boy china was used at Frisch's franchises in and around Ohio. The Frisch's headquarters were in Cincinnati. The logo was designed for the Frisch's franchise to give it its own Big Boy even though Bob Wian of California's Big Boy had already sold them the rights, etc. The first to buy Bob Wian's concept were Elias Bros in Michigan and Frisch's of Ohio. After that BigBoy went all over the place.
