A piece of railroad china. The pattern is Milwaukee traveler.

Toothpick holder? Mustard pot with no lid? Either way it is a piece of railroad china. I had this piece for several years before I found out the pattern name is Encanto and it was used at the La Fonda hotel in Santa Fe, N.M. It's funny because I eat off one of the dinner plates every night as I have for years. Until a year ago, I assumed these pieces were worth very little more than the $2 a piece that I paid for them. But just say 'railroad' and it becomes exponential in value.
