Onondaga Pottery Company a.k.a. O.P.Co
Syracuse China went under this name up until the mid 1960s
This is the name that Syracuse China went by in the old old days. When you see an O.P.Co piece, it is generally from the 1930s though if it is good condition you will have a hard time believing it. Great quality stuff. See the Little Spoon Date Code page for backstamp dating information.

From the cafeteria At the 20th Century Fox movie studios in Los Angeles from about 60 years ago! Up until recently you could still get one of these when ordering a hamburger though few were left as most broke or 'disappeared' over the years. They were replaced by these really ugly (in my opinion) brown banded Syracuse China plates which just had no personality. I would make a crack about their studio and losing personality but they are responsible for the most excellent "The Simpsons".
Incidently I bought this one on Ebay a few years ago for around $25 (much underpriced) and sold it later at around $100 which is it's truer value.
