Jackson China Backstamp Date Codes

Pretty simple: Letter on back corresponds to the year in the table. Notice that the letters repeat at the year 1977. I can't verify the accuracy of this table at the moment but I'm working on it.

Beautiful colors and craftsmanship! As good as Syracuse. The plate in the middle is artist signed? Says Designed by Paul Mc Cobb. Isn't McCobb one of those Modernism guys? Well I got it for 25 cents at the local thrift store. The airbrush piece on the right; $15 at a local swap meet.

Couple of nice plates. I really like Jackson pieces!!! Some of my favorites.

Smitty's Plate - Airbrushed Lobster

Don the Beachcomber Saki Cup - Tiki Place

The Mill Cereal Bowl
(Jac-Tan) backstamp circa 1946-1965

Scituate Cabin cup and saucer
Datecode of K7 translates to 1961

Aztec Dining Room Sauce Bowl

Ira's plate
Datecode of I8 translates to 1959

Trade Winds plate with flamingo on it. I traded for it!

Wonderful airbrushed lobster platter which I traded a few years ago (plus cash) for something else and now I really really regret it! Sigh.

Paul McCobb signed and designed baby! Bought it for a quarter, sold it for $3.00 on Ebay. What empowerment. So did Eames make any vitrified china? I know Russell Wright did. See
