The plate above is from The Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles which is still in business. It recently underwent an expensive renovation. I went to a wedding there a month or two ago (May, 2001) and an 8 oz. plastic glass of Coke cost me $3 plus tip(!). If you go out on the sidewalk after dark, you are sure to see rats scurrying around. That whole section of Downtown L.A. is rat infested! But I would assume that they are not in the Hotel itself. You find a lot of Buffalo China at current coffee shop chains such as The International House Of Pancakes.
I miss this little syrup creamer. I sold it on Ebay for $8 back in 1999.
Neat bread plate with a sea side scene on it. I have seen this pattern plates made by several different companies. Sort of deco-ish in design.
